Having spent much of 2017 touring with the likes of Alex Lahey, Killing Heidi and Dan Sultan, and wowing crowds at Falls Festival Byron Bay, ILUKA is ready to set 2018 on fire with her latest offering, the Ritual EP. Conjuring the shoo-wops of motown, the swirling synths of the space age, the rambling tales of the folk bard, and the urgency of revolution, this collection marks the next evolution in the retro pop sound for which ILUKA has become known.
Lead single ‘Sympathy’ wasted no time making an impact. Following its premiere on Rolling Stone, this rousing call to action has been added to Double J rotation and flagged by Spotify as must-hear new music. A song of defiance, it’s a reflection of ILUKA’s own activism, particularly as an ambassador for the Women’s March.
To celebrate the April 6 release of the Ritual EP, ILUKA embarked on a national tour of her home country, Australia. With her full band along for the ride, the shows were sure to empower and elevate, to transcend and liberate. Now ILUKA brings her unique sound to the UK for the first time for some special solo shows. Don’t miss this opportunity to catch this stadium sound in such intimate surrounds.
